When I am thinking of places to go walking, I often look for places I haven’t been before or super adventurous places. On this day, I actually just felt like going somewhere fairly close by and decided on Shakespear Regional Park. I have been here about four or five times before but this time felt different. The day was crystal clear, the air was crisp, there was hardly any people around and there were little lambs everywhere! I have to say, it felt pretty magical. I love how being in nature has the ability to make you feel so refreshed.
Shakespear is located at the very end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula and looks out on Rangitoto Island. There are eight tracks you can choose from and they are all well signposted. I would recommend doing the lookout track for the best views!
